Sunday was Mother’s Day and I chatted with my mom in the morning. I’m grateful that she has been supportive of my transition and that she’s here to see me living happily today. Sunday would have also been my late father’s 70th birthday. He’s been gone for over 15 years which seems like a long time, for someone whose voice I can still hear so clearly.
